Career at PASS
since 2007: Senior Consultant
What are your areas of responsibility at PASS?
I am a consultant in the banking sector and am responsible for customer projects. I advise on all subjects relating to system architecture and act as the link between customer business units and IT.
What do you like most about your job at PASS?
On the one hand I have to be very flexible in my job. With every new customer and every new project there are new challenges and the work is very demanding and varied. On the other hand there is always the opportunity to develop different specialist competencies, even if they are not directly related to the actual job.
What do you generally expect of your employer?
From my employer I expect to be in a position where I can continually develop professionally, technically and privately. For this, my employer should provide the necessary time and resources.
What advice would you give to newcomers at PASS?
I would recommend newcomers entering the profession to gain project experience as quickly as possible, preferably customer projects but internal projects are also relevant. They should also try to meet as many colleagues as possible and become familiar with the PASS philosophy. For this PASS has events, forums and the Academy.
With which sport could you compare your job and why?
As a “lone warrior” in customer projects, the decathlon would be the best comparison. Different skills and disciplines must be mastered and used.
