How does PASS promote your personal and professional development?
There is a wide range of training opportunities offered through the PASS academy. The numerous classroom seminars are especially appealing to me. You not only get the chance to exchange experiences with colleagues and partners, but you can also increase your expert knowledge in your professional field (e.g. in my case it is the ITIL v3 certification). You also get individual support, for example, through personal consultations and various offers in soft skills, presentation skills, etc.
What is the job training like?
Getting familiarized with the company's philosophy and culture is very important during the first few weeks. In addition, you also get to know points of contact in the company. At the same time, you go through several levels of training to get to know the PASS processes (project management, quality assurance, software design, etc.) as well as the sales processes and the CRM system. After 4-6 weeks you get the chance to show what you have learned up to that point by giving a short presentation to the senior management. This also gives you the opportunity to critically evaluate the corporate philosophy during an open discussion. I’m also very fortunate to have an experienced mentor on my side who has supported me in challenging situations and has answers on hand to my many questions.
Which type of soft skills are particularly important in your area?
Tact, objectivity, fairness and the ability to build up interpersonal relationships. You always have to be genuine, because the customer will immediately notice if the “smile” isn’t real.
In your opinion, what are the keys to success?
Always do everything to the best of your ability. Approach tasks and challenges with a sense of humor. With a bit of luck, success will also be on your side.
