Career with PASS
- 2025 – Junior UX-Designerin
When did you start at PASS and what were your first impressions?
I joined PASS in 2022 as part of my dual study program. I have always been interested in programming and web design, and I found the perfect combination for this in the online media degree program. PASS quickly became the ideal practical partner for me: a professional B2B environment, exciting products, and I had a very positive first impression right from the start.
Which team do you work in and what are your responsibilities?
I work in the Marketing & Corporate Communications department as a UX designer. During my studies, I quickly discovered my interest in user interfaces. That's why my focus is on improving the user interfaces of our products and solutions: for example, by creating holistic redesigns for various platforms, analyzing existing interfaces, and making minor adjustments in terms of responsiveness and accessibility.
Which tasks do you enjoy most?
I really appreciate the variety of my tasks, but I am particularly enthusiastic about developing new designs. It's just a great feeling to see how an idea in my head becomes a concrete design and how it is later actually implemented and used. I particularly appreciate the trust and openness of my colleagues.
Which skill or characteristic helps you most in your everyday work?
Solution orientation. No matter how well you prepare, new challenges always arise in everyday work. It's important to remain flexible, find creative solutions, and not lose heart until everything works out in the end.
Which feature of PASS would you not want to do miss?
The mutual support within the team, the strong sense of togetherness, and the great diversity of topics and people make PASS special to me.
If you had to describe PASS in three words, what would they be and why?
Support, teamwork, and diversity, because I can always count on my colleagues at PASS, we work on projects together, and we benefit from a wide variety of perspectives and ideas. At the same time, the diversity of tasks makes every day exciting: no two workdays are the same, and there are always new challenges that allow you to grow and try new things.
What advice would you give your first-day self today?
There are no stupid questions and no “wrong” answers. Try everything, ask questions, and learn from every experience. Failure is part of the process - you learn from it, and that's perfectly fine. And above all: time flies by incredibly quickly. Take a break now and then and enjoy the good moments.
What would you like to achieve or learn at PASS in the coming years?
My goal is to continuously develop myself professionally and personally and to continually expand my UX knowledge. In January 2026, I will participate in a UX seminar, from which I hope to gain new perspectives and fresh inspiration. In the long term, I would like to accompany further projects and bring my own ideas to life, from the first sketch to prototypes to implementation in live systems.
