Why did you choose your chosen training program at the time?

Through various internships, I was able to get a taste of a few different professions and found out what suits me best and what I enjoy most. I wanted to understand how a company works “from the inside”, from order processing to accounting. The commercial sector is very diverse and brings different tasks every day.

How did you end up at PASS and what area do you work in here? 

A colleague told me about PASS. I provide support in the financial accounting department.

What tasks are you currently responsible for and what does your day-to-day work involve?

My tasks include accounts receivable and accounts payable, cash management, banking, liquidity planning, and business analyses.

What do you find particularly important about your work? Why is it essential to the company?

In my work, it is particularly important that all figures are correct and traceable. Without accurate accounting, the company cannot plan or operate in an economically stable manner.

What qualities should someone new to accounting have?

In accounting, reliability, accuracy, a structured approach to work, and good time management are important.

Are there any specific deadlines that you and your team have to meet? How do you deal with these deadlines and sometimes stressful periods?

There are several deadlines in our department. These include accounting deadlines such as the monthly financial statements and the timely submission of the advance sales tax return. I plan ahead as much as possible to keep the deadlines as stress-free as possible.

What makes a good team for you?

For me, a good team is characterized by mutual trust, open communication, and shared responsibilities . Each person contributes their strengths and supports the others so that goals can be achieved together.

What has been your best moment at PASS so far?

My best moment at PASS was my first PASS Late Year Benefit Concert - the great location and the impressively organized event with great artists.

What experiences or skills have you been able to develop since you started at PASS?

Since I started, I have been able to deepen my accounting expertise in particular. In addition, I have strengthened my analytical understanding of financial relationships.
