How did you originally come to PASS?

I got to know PASS while I was still at school during an internship. After finishing my studies, I wanted to return to Aschaffenburg for work, which is why PASS was my first port of call.

How would you describe your typical workday in three words, and why?

Unpredictable, spontaneous, and dynamic days at work are only partially plannable because you have to respond to unforeseen events on the systems and, if necessary, quickly find a solution or workaround.

Which tasks do you particularly enjoy?

Analyzing errors, i.e., “playing detective” and reconstructing events in order to explain undesirable system behavior.

Which task or project has recently challenged you the most?

The time-critical setup of a monitoring system and interpretation of the results obtained to optimize a comprehensive system landscape with high performance and throughput requirements.

What helps you master new challenges well?

I rely on my ability to quickly familiarize myself with new and unfamiliar topics on my own.

What makes for good teamwork in your opinion?

Taking into account the individual skills and circumstances of team members.

What do you appreciate about the corporate culture at PASS?

The trust that all my colleagues and superiors have placed in me since day one. In return, I also have the confidence to express my ideas and approaches and know that they will be listened to.

In what areas have you been able to develop the most since you started at PASS?

In my opinion, in prioritizing competing tasks, i.e., what is most time-critical and what can wait. Along with this, I have also been able to gain a lot of experience in keeping track of the project status of the respective customers in a multi-client environment.
