Around Aschaffenburg

The head office of PASS is in Aschaffenburg. This city at the River "Main" has surprisingly much to offer, especially the attractive locations between the booming "Rhine-Main" area and the nature of the "Spessart" – one of central Europe’s largest forest areas. So there’s big-city life and relaxation on the doorstep.

Aschaffenburg is about 30 minutes away from Frankfurt am Main and has a nearly perfect infrastructure including rail station (directly in Aschaffenburg) with fast inter-city connections to Frankfurt Airport and the metropolitan cities in the region, with their immense cultural offers.

Many of our employees prefer big-city life and live in Frankfurt. Because of the anticyclic rush hour traffic they avoid congestions. Nevertheless the majority feels at home in Aschaffenburg.  Due to it's particularly mild climate this is no surprise – one reason why it is known as the “Bavarian Nice" (like the city on the French Riviera).

The Institute for the German Economy in 2013 confirmed just how great life is in Aschaffenburg: In the current city ranking Aschaffenburg placed 13th with a gross domestic product of 59,000 euros per person in a nationwide comparison of economic power. It placed ahead of cities like Munich, Hamburg and Würzburg among others. This proves that big does not always mean powerful. The high quality of living in Aschaffenburg is the result of the balance between the service and industry sectors. The inhabitants of Aschaffenburg enjoy an excellent infrastructure.
